RAIL SUPPORTED ARM PR2
Rail supported arm PR2 has a very flexible design. In combination with all the useful accessories, PR2 can be used at a number of different assembly stations.

PR2 uses a coil spring to counter-balance weights of up to 2,5 kg and torques of up to 20 Nm.
The rail can be mounted on the cealing, wall or floor. The same type of rail is used for both rail supported arms PR2 and PR1 giving many different assembly possibilities. The rail can be ordered from 1 metre and upwards.

Many of our customers mount several parallel rails in one work station. The advantage is that machines fitted to our rail supported arms are easily accessible when they are to be used but, at the same time, easy to slide away from the work station when they are no longer needed.
For increased comfort and control, we recommend that the rail supported arm is equipped with a height stop and an extension tube.

RAIL SUPPORTED ARM PR2
Rail supported arm PR1 is a stable piece of equipment which can provide many flexible solutions for different types of assembly stations..

PR1 counter-balances weights and torque using gas springs which give smooth motions coupled with control and comfort. The maximum load for the PR1 is 5 kg and the maximum torque is 50 Nm.

The rail can be mounted on the ceiling, wall or floor making the design of the work station easier.
The rail can be ordered from 1 metre and upwards. The same type of rail are used by both PR1 and PR2.


PR-100 and PR-300 have many areas of use. They are best suited for assembly work at a travelling production line as the rail supported arm can follow the line for short or long stretches.

The rail supported arm consists of three main components: a stable rail construction, a rail wagon which glides very easily on the rail and the actual arm which counter-balances weights and torques.
To cover a larger area or to increase accessibility, the rails can be mounted across other rails in a coordinate system.

A wide range of tool holders is available for the PR-100 and PR-300 and in combination with the pneumatic locking unit, all types of machine operations can be carried out.

As both rail supported arms are pneumatically counter-balanced, they can, as well as the locking unit, be equipped with a “power assisance” which is activated by the machine.

The power assistance finesse is that the rail supported arm gives the operator extra power both upwards and downwards when the tool is used. In other words, the operator himself does not need to put pressure on the tool.
